Hello Santa!

Danielle Gillard is a local photographer who was out on the ice of Houseboat Bay recently when this fellow went by, and was lucky enough to get this great shot. Apparently it wasn’t a staged photo, Santa just happened to be passing. I wish I could have seen him too. Come back Santa!

Santa came to our house — in person — every year at Christmas, all the way through my first year at college. Now I know where he started from! This is a fantastic photo — thanks for sharing it with us. And Merry Christmas to you and Martin!

Wow Linda, you rate! Up here Santa only comes for kids, although I hope he will make an exception for me this year.

I discovered yesterday that the dog musher and his team are the ones that fell through the ice our first winter here. So nice to see them back in action.

Very best wishes for your holiday!

My first present from him was a rubber duckie soap dish for the tub. My last? Chanel #5. Smart Santa! I’ll see if I’ve got a photo around here somewhere….
